The family background stories are written by the people who we cooperate with and who live in the same area as the families we help.

Nenita considered herself very unfortunate and almost had lost her normal thinking because her husband left here when Joenel was about to be born. They used to rent a room in Bambang, proper. But when the husband left them Catalina-Nenita’s mother took the family and stayed in Macate about 2 kilometers away from poblacion.
The family condition became more difficult especially when Nenita was operate caesarean when delivering Joenel. They borrowed lots of money for the hospital bills and for medicines. The father of Joenel did not help them until this day but they did not lose hope. According to Nenita, she always prayed to God for guidance and protection and at last she is had overcome those problems and feel victorious somehow. Now her two kids have grown and are giving her happiness because of their brilliance in school and are standing in the academic standing. But poverty remains their no. 1 problem. So please continue to support Joenel because her mother and grandmother can’t afford to send him to school.
